Correct me if I’m wrong, but is there such a thing as Republican Math?

Well, other than balanced budget math that is…

You know what that is…  You can’t spend more than you take in.

But the Herald, famous for misinformation, is at it once again.

According to the article on the two open School Board seats, Sutton is a Republican math teacher who lives in Coral Springs.

He is a Republican and he does live in Coral Springs.

Okay, so far.

But the article goes on to state that Sutton was teacher of the year at Coral Springs High School last year.

Well…  Not exactly.

Not unless Coral Springs High School is located in Sunrise

Sutton was Sunrise’s teacher of the month last June.

And Sutton teaches regular math at Piper High School, not Republican math.

But then, how can we expect more out of the Herald?

When I was a School Board member, every time the Herald wrote a story on the meeting that had just ended, I had to wonder if we attended the same meeting.

But then what can you expect from a Newspaper that published little more than hit pieces on the only School Board member that stood up to bullying and intimidation from a certain activist group in Broward?

Let’s hope Sutton gets the appointment.

There’ll be some surprises in store for district staff.
